A Fundraiser for Tom Landahl, who has subbed in our league last year and this year, has been organized to assist with the tremendous medical expenses he is saddled with as a result of a near fatal accident his daughter (Tamie) suffered while on vacation with her 9 year old son in Cozumel, Mexico.  Although medical personnel in Mexico provided initial treatment for her severe lacerations, broken bones and head trauma, they advised she needed an immediate medivac to the US because of possible v...

#1 - Dave White and Bob Schiersing (Team 2) are not able to continue the rest of this season.  Their place as Team 2 will be covered by Ali Jafari and Craig Collins starting 7/18/17 thru the end of the season.  Please help them out and explain our league rules as needed.

#2 - Lou and Tony Gnagnarelli are not able to play until further notice.  If you are playing Team #15 you win all 3 points but must play the round and turn in your scorecard that night at Darrow's.

This year's Mid Season Party is scheduled for Tuesday, 7/14, at Darrow's after golf.  $10 gift cards will be issued (see Kevin Brzezinski) to all members who can use them to order off the menu on that day or any other they choose.  This change is made to address the concerns raised regarding timing and the menu offering.  Hope you are able to join us on the 14th, but if not, you won't miss out.

CHCC announces their 26th Annual Golf Appreciation Tournament.  See me for a registration form to submit to the course and to select one of these dates: Tuesday 9/16, Sunday 9/21, Thursday 9/25, Friday 9/26.  Cost is $44 if paid in advance or $49 if paid on day of event and includes golf & cart, Lunch, Hors D' Oeuvres, 1 hour open bar before dinner, Dinner and Prizes.  The 18 hole four-person scramble starts at 10 AM with check in 30 minutes before start.

I have received the invitation for our league members to register for the Appreciation Tournament.  There are 4 dates: 9/17, 9/21, 9/26 and 9/27.  There is a 10 AM shotgun start.  League members may also invite other guests or just register themselves and get matched up.  The cost is $40 if paid in advance and $45 on the day of play.  It includes golf, cart, lunch, dinner and prizes.  I have copies of the registration form you'll need to register, so just let me know if you need one.  Each da...

Because we were able to submit the league member address list early we qualified for a free practice round at CHCC on Tuesday, Aprill 23 at our regular league tee times (starting at 4:04 PM).  No need to call for tee times, just show up!

Well here we are – ready to start a new season.  Seems like it’s been way too long since we’ve been able to get out on the course as a group again.  The course is in great shape and the weather looks like it’s trying to do the same – at least on some days.

We’ve got room for 2 more teams (4 players), but so far no one has committed yet so we’re going ahead with plans for a 16 team league, just like last year.  But this year we start at 4:30 PM on Tuesdays, beginning on May 1...
