Not having a clear understanding of how our league is required to operate under current restrictions for CHCC, The start date is revised to May 26.  We are awaiting clarification of those details from the course and as soon as they are provided and finalized they will be sent out to league members.

The matches for 8/5 that were cancelled because of weather will be played on 9/2.  The position round will be played on 9/9.  Should there be another rainout, this schedule will be revised.

As a result of Tuesday's cancellation, the matches that were to be played then (the 7/31 matches) will be played next week (9/11),  There will be no position round played this year since the banquet is 9/18.  Every team will have played each other and the season will end on 9/11.

1.    1^st Round – play match scheduled for 5/18/10 on front nine

2.    2^nd round –play on back nine but continue to play with same opponents and the scorecards will be matched against teams as scheduled for 6/22/10

Need to fill out scorecard (for both rounds – all 18 holes) and use current handicaps (calculated after matches played on 7/6/10)

Dog meat will not be available for second round (for 6/22 match) since that will be settled by matching cards.

REMINDER:

Our mid-season party is Tuesday July 6 at Darrow’s starting at 7:30 PM rain or shine.  Pete and Kathy will try to make sure there is enough hot food left for the later tee times like they did last year, so keep that in mind if you’re going to play extra holes.

We’ve had only one rainout so far this season.  May 18^th’s cancellation doesn’t count since we changed the season start date to the following week (which became the rainout date).  The plan is to play the week one schedule (which was to be played on May 25^th) on August 31^st and have the position night on September 7^th ending the season).  Should we have additional rainouts we’ll reconsider and see what works out best – like playing on a Saturday with advance notice to everyone.  So ...
