A Fundraiser for Tom Landahl, who has subbed in our league last year and this year, has been organized to assist with the tremendous medical expenses he is saddled with as a result of a near fatal accident his daughter (Tamie) suffered while on vacation with her 9 year old son in Cozumel, Mexico.  Although medical personnel in Mexico provided initial treatment for her severe lacerations, broken bones and head trauma, they advised she needed an immediate medivac to the US because of possible vascular injuries.  Tamie was flown to ECMC and again placed in Intensive Care after surgery.  The initial medical care in Mexico and wonderful care at ECMC has resulted in a spectacular recovery.  However, before Tamie could be released from the hospital in Mexico, Tom had to sign for the payment of the medical care and medivac expense which amounts to $80,000 that is not covered by any insurance.  To assist with these expenses is the purpose for this fundraiser.

The fundraiser will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 1 PM until 5 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 261 South Legion Drive, Buffalo, NY.  There will be food, beer, soft drinks, water, Raffles, 50/50 drawings, Baskets and a $100 Door Prize.  Tickets are $25 each and are available through George Strzelczyk and Bill Stachura.
